Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity to talk with my friend Jarrod McKenna from The Peace Tree Community in Perth, Australia. While he was ready for lunch, I was ready for my night snack. Our conversation moved back and forth from telling about our cultural heritage, religion of the empire, the political situation of Puerto Rico, living as exiles, community life, to Jarrod’s explaination on how to ride kangaroos to school, pretty much like in The Empire Strike Back.
I’m glad to make the connection with the Peace Tree Community. Another group of sisters and brother in a God’s liberated space and living God’s purposes in their community.
Jarrod is a recovering consumer, peace preaching eco-evangelist, larrikin seditionist, one day want-a-be permaculturalist and fellow conspirators with the Submergent Network.
